This painting was created to be a life-size representation of a huge brown caught in a Great Lakes tributary by accomplished fly fisherman Jed Stewart. With a full sheet of watercolor paper measuring 30" in length, I ran immediately ran into the logistical problem of the fish being too big for the surface. That's a problem I would take as an angler any day! I ordered a larger watercolor board and created this leviathan.  As a commission, the original is sold, but signed prints are available.
